About

We are a husband and wife, who have turned their lifelong love of animals  into a growing business.

We both started off with the usual pets in childhood the cats, dogs, hamsters, goldfish etc that are the normal for children.  Unlike many others we progressed from the usual  run of the mill pets to more exotic and unusual ones - we do however still have two dogs. It was family and friends who started asking us to bring some of our animals along to their barbeques and children's  birthday parties to provide some different entertainment. From these small beginnings we decided that if we could turn this into a business, we could spend our life doing something we loved - and get paid for it at the same time!  So began Party Animals. Now into our fourth year and busier than ever.  As the business grows we have found ourselves travelling further afield to undertake more and varied events from our home in Blackford, Perthshire.
Sarah Jane When not looking after two children - deals with the correspondence and helps at events. Sarah Jane spent two years at Elmwood College in Cupar  undertaking first an HNC in Animal Management followed by an HND in Animal Care and Management. After completing college she worked in a kennel and cattery in Crieff for a year before moving up to Auchingarich Wildlife Centre where she spent nine years. Here she dealt with everything from chickens to ostriches  and ferrets to llamas!
Bryan The main man who works all the hours going - doing what is necessary to grow the business, Bryan has had a variety of jobs and is at the moment completing a degree in Business Management to increase his business skills. It also allowed him more time to spend with the animals and for attending events. His real love is birds of prey and reptiles. He has worked at both World of Wings Falconry Centre outside Cumbernauld and Auchingarich Bird of Prey Centre at Comrie.
Mya Helps getting new animals used to being handled and with the mucking out! The apprentice (our nine year old daughter ) very much takes after mum and dad and is animal daft.  She will happily let spiders run all over her and she likes nothing more than cuddling a snake - (that is Woody she is holding) how ever if a wasp comes near her then she will scream and rather loudly at that! She often attends events such as galas and open days helping out and astounding people with her knowledge of the animals.
